Find me near the chestnut trees (working title)
Before I went to Ukraine for the first time since the full scale invasion started, my friends that either stayed in Lviv or had to flee there, had been telling me for weeks how seemingly normal life had gotten there again and I just couldn‘t imagine it at all.
Therefore this is exactly what this project focusses on: What does everyday life and normality look like when there is a war going on at the same time and absolutely nothing is normal?
These images were taken during four visits, in June and September of last year and April and May of this year. I went to Lviv and Kyiv.
In a way it is a sequal to my longterm project `it was snowing outside`
